Keep even closer tabs on the current fishing, canoing, kayaking, and rafting conditions on your favorite rivers with this RiverFlows app add-on.The RiverFlows Widget displays your top 5 favorite USGS, NOAA, US Army Corps of Engineers, California Data Exchange Center or Colorado Department of Water Resources gauge sites right on your phones home screen. Updated hydrological data is downloaded every hour. The Riverflows app and widget are now open source!: https://github.com/robinmj/riverflowsNotes (IMPORTANT)The RiverFlows Widget wont do anything unless RiverFlows app 1.0 or later is installed and favorite sites are selected beforehand. See https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riverflowsTHE WIDGET WONT APPEAR ON YOUR PHONES HOME SCREEN UNTIL YOU PLACE IT THERE USING THE WIDGETS MENU. The procedure for doing this varies slightly by device manufacturer and Android OS version, but there are some basic instructions here: http://support.google.com/android/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1628154For older (pre- Android 3.0) devices, use these instructions:http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/adding-widgets-to-android-home-screen/The RiverFlows Widget will result in slightly decreased battery life and slightly increased data usage when active. In my experience, these effects are barely noticeable.I welcome feedback and bug reports- please send them to [email protected] app permissions that are no longer necessary

I would like control over the number of favorites displayed, otherwise it's all good

Brent Davis

Use app daily. I would give it 5 stars, if it showed 5 days ahead. Only needs to show 2 days behind the date. That would be a perfect 7 day window for water recreation.

KATHERINE Hoffman

I like the widget, looks good and makes it very easy to see the flows. But come on, you need to be able to show more than 5.

Aarron Hulswitt

I use the widget on my phone to follow levels on favorite runs. Would also guess it is also good for fisherman.

Odie Cook

Would be nice to set as many rivers (stations) as I want. Would also be nice to be able to sort r/s by name, location, favorite, etc
